Today, I wanted to share a colored page from Johanna Basford Enchanted Forest. While I am not new to coloring, I am new to colored pencil blending and shading. I followed along with Peta from La Artistino and her tutorials on coloring the duck pond.
I used a combination of Faber Castell Polychromos and Derwent Artist colored pencils to created the layout.
While, I still need some practice, I am please with my first go around. Peta has you using different color combinations and she does a great job of explaining why.
Well, that will do it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
